This piece was inspired by using spatulas, and seeing what they brought forth. I enjoyed the experience of seeing what shapes and forms developed using scraping techniques, and also using oil sticks for the first time. I love the serenity and colors that provoked the emotion of ‘even though I walk through the valley…” I hope this painting offers opportunity to be reminded that we are not alone.
