“Sunfish races happen all summer on lake St. Clair, Michigan. (Also known as the Detroit river.) This is a scene taken near the Crescent Lake Sailing Club. This is a very large lake across from Canada, so the wind and waves are especially challenging for sunfish racers! I tried capturing the wind and water movement using a Liquin medium. Also, using 3 panels allowed for the 20” x 40” size. I hope it gives you a sense of adventure!”
