Description
My themes usually highlight the beauty of nature while walking in it. It comes from being in Michigan my whole life, and never tiring of the canopies trees produce, no matter what part of the state I travel. This painting was inspired by another artist I follow on IG who uses a palette of softer hues. It seemed like a challenge to try it for myself, again using the spatuals for mark making. The compositions are all photographed from a beautiful area in the “thumb” of Michigan. Worth investigating!
